A few snippets from the remains of my summer. Currently having mixed feelings about being back in the big apple.

spring face

The perfect spring face combination for the bipolar New York City weather which honestly makes you look like you haven't got anything on your face at all.

1. Tarte Amazonian clay 12-hour blush in Exposed
- after hearing much hype about this I found myself purchasing this delightfully nude, almost dusty-pink powder blush online. It has outrageous lasting power and gives the most natural pink tinge to your cheeks.
2. Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick in Warm Beige 3.5
- an old favourite I put away for a while but have recently re-discovered. This shade has always been the perfect match for my skin tone and it tends to be used more like a concealer than actual foundation.
3. Rimmel Stay Matte long lasting pressed powder in Transparent
- bought this upon the recommendations of the lovely Tanya Burr, and though I didn't like it at first, I find myself reaching for it quite often now.
4. Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman Pointed Foundation Brush
- the perfect brush to use with the Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick as it doesn't leave an overly thick layer.
5. Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman Contour Brush
- small but still an ideal size to be used for blush, it gives you enough control and blending power.

ysl glossy stain

This is by far the most glorious lip product of my life; lasts forever, unbelievably moisturizing, doesn't budge -- all around amazing.

Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture Glossy Stain in 11 Rouge Gouache.

current face

1. Nars Cream Eyeshadow in Cosmic Girl
- a lovely shimmery highlight on the cheekbone.
2. Bare Minerals Eyeshadow in Nude Beach
- by far my favourite Bare Minerals shadow; delightfully shimmery and sparkly yet somewhat neutral.
3. Chanel Illusion d'Ombre in Emerveillé
- the most glorious texture for a creamy mousse-y eyeshadow that is perfect for all day every day.
4. Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation
- it gives the most natural finish like your skin but better when mixed with a pinch of moisturizer.
5. Maybelline Mineral Pure Conealer
- just your average concealer that isn't outrageously heavy and cakey.
6. Stila Convertible Colour in Poppy
- the perfect colour that gives your face a healthy flush or a "I've just been outside in the cold" tinge.
7. Maybelline Volum'Express the HyperCurl
- my favourite mascara ever, probably my seventh or eighth tube; I have unopened ones lying around in case, God forbid, Maybelline decides to discontinue it.
