adventures in hong kong
Just after ringing in 2015 (which I actually spent stuck in a traffic jam), my two friends and I did a bit of a South-East Asian exploration trip. First stop - my homebase, Hong Kong. Having friends visiting the city you grew up in makes you do so much more than you ever would just being at home; instead of sitting around and living life as you do, you actually go out and explore. I made a point to do a bunch of touristy things, as well as showing them average (but fun) things I would do on an average (but fun) day. We ate a lot, drank a bit, and explored a lot.

poached eggs on avocado toast
It's been a busy couple of months; here's a snippet of a very simple meal which is one of my favourites.

focaccia
This is just a quick shot of some focaccia my sister and I made at midnight. I don't have the recipe as she found a random one online and we put our own twist on it -- cherry tomatoes, garlic and a crap ton of basil.
