After almost a week of eating and adventuring in Hong Kong and before adventuring in Singapore, we journeyed to Bangkok. It was pretty awesome, some of the highlights we saw were The (big and touristy) Grand Palace, Wat Arun a.k.a. The Temple of Dawn (not a great place for people with a fear of heights), a floating market - where I almost spilled duck noodles down my shirt several times when trying to eat in a boat that was moving at the speed of sound, and a the random spots of shopping here and there. The street food is absolutely phenomenal - I had some really good chicken on a stick, and the fresh pomegranate juice and coconuts were to die for. It was still pretty hot and sticky in January, but the awesome food made up for it.
