Others have said to me that safari was life changing for them, and I wholeheartedly agree. It's one thing to go to the zoo and see exotic animals, but it's another to see them in person, up close in the wild.

stone barns center for food and agriculture
Over the Thanksgiving holiday, I had the pleasure of visiting Stone Barns Center for Food & Agriculture in upstate New York. The farm is also a nonprofit institution and they aim to promote and raise awareness of healthy and sustainable food and also collaborates with Blue Hill which uses the seasonal products of the farm; the place basically embodied everything I love. I had the pleasure of taking the Insider's Tour, which was incredibly informative and followed this with a light outdoor lunch at Blue Hill Café. It's such a beautiful place so if you are interested in sustainable farming or fresh food, take a day to go check it out.
